PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an important image to a monitoring person in real-time by predicting the action of an intruder on the basis of a detection frame area and locus information of the intruder detected by a laser sensor when the intruder is detected by an image processing device, and rank importance levels on the basis of multiple camera images.SOLUTION: A monitoring system includes: multiple cameras for capturing images of a monitoring area; an intrusion object detection sensor for performing image processing of image signals input from the multiple cameras and detecting an intrusion object that intrudes into the monitoring area; and a control unit for instructing the change of directions and field angles of the multiple cameras according to previously registered preset information on the basis of position coordinates of an intrusion object detected by the intrusion object detection sensor. The control unit predicts the movement of the intrusion object on the basis of position coordinates of the intrusion object from the intrusion object detection sensor, ranks the importance levels of images transmitted from the multiple cameras on the basis of detection frame area information of the intrusion object from the intrusion object detection sensor, and displays images on a monitor according to the rankings. |
