PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus for recording an observation object as a moving image and recording the position of a specific still picture in the moving image.SOLUTION: A system control circuit 321 determines the occurrence of an event when a user interface 352 is operated, generates an event register, and transmits it as an event signal to a moving image recording control part 324. The event signal is an electric signal having an event register. The event register is represented by hexadecimal six-digit number, and comprises an event ID represented by hexadecimal two-digit number and an event number represented by hexadecimal four-digit number. The event ID is a number predetermined for each kind of events. For example, an event ID when a still image recording switch 222 is operated is 20. The event number is a number increased from 0 one by one in the occurring order of events, and given for each kind of events. |
