PURPOSE: A method for evaluating aquatic ecotoxicity is provided to spend about two days in determining aquatic ecotoxicity using a root growth property of root-cut Lemnaceae plants as an indicator for evaluating aquatic ecotoxicity and to shorten evaluation time. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating aquatic ecotoxicity comprises the steps of: putting a water sample into a measuring container; adding root-cut Lemnaceae plants into the measuring container; culturing the plants; and measuring the growth length or growth rate of roots in the plants. |
