PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve and a shock absorber which allows the ride quality in a vehicle to be improved.SOLUTION: In order to achieve above object, a valve of this invention, which is described as a solution, includes: a disk 1 which is annular and includes an open window 1a and a passage 1b leading to the open window 1a from an inner periphery or an outer periphery; and a leaf valve 2 which is annular and laminated on the disc 1 and opens or closes the open window 1a. The leaf valve 2 covers the passage 1b of the disc 1 thereby allowing the passage 1b to function as an orifice. |
