PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode manufacturing method in which hardening and curvature of an active material layer after a press process can be suppressed.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a positive electrode 21, a layer formation process is included in which an active layer material 21b is coated on both surfaces of a metal foil 21a at an interval in a transportation direction while transporting a belt-like metal foil 21a.
