PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a higher yield of ozone by that even when a discharge gap length is made less than 0.6 mm, the discharge gap length is kept constant in a longer direction.SOLUTION: In an ozone generator according to an embodiment, a cylindrical low-voltage electrode is coaxially arranged to a cylindrical high-voltage electrode, a prescribed high voltage is applied between the high-voltage electrode and the low-voltage electrode through a dielectric body to perform electric discharge to thereby generate ozone by the electric discharge. Here, a discharge gap length d is made 0.3 mm-0.5 mm. Further, one of the low-voltage electrode or the high-voltage electrode is formed as a metal electrode, and the other is formed as a dielectric body electrode. In addition, a projection group having two or more projections that coaxially holds the metal electrode to the dielectric body electrode while keeping a discharge gap length is disposed at an inner peripheral surface of the metal electrode that counters the dielectric body electrode. |
