PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a French portable input terminal that has a similar operability to a personal computer, and to provide its input method.SOLUTION: In an input keyboard with three rows and five columns, a plurality of consonants and a plurality of vowels are assigned to some of keys, thereby systematically sorting all alphabets into a consonant keyboard and a vowel keyboard. In addition to five basic vowels, ten pairs of double vowels with high use frequency of spelling are assigned to the vowel keyboard. In an input system for automatically alternating the two keyboard according to input, each of these consonants and vowels is input by depressing one key. A comparison is made with a prepared database for making a determination. To input successive consonants or vowels, a preceding alphabet is pressed slightly longer, thereby achieving the automatic alteration of the keyboards and the input of a similar content with fewer depression. |
