PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal apparatus having a card connector which is disposed separated away from a surface of housing and which has a structure to prevent erroneous insertion of a card at a low cost.SOLUTION: The portable terminal apparatus includes: a housing (10); a board (30) stored in the housing; card connectors (32 and 33) mounted on the board to allow insertion of a card; a sheet metal member (40) disposed facing to the board being interposed by the card connectors; and a projection (41) protruding from the plate surface of the sheet metal member to prevent erroneous insertion of a card.
