PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating a thin-film solar cell, which specifies a range having improved conductivity in a cell serving as a unit cell without destroying it.SOLUTION: A first electrode layer, a light absorption layer and a second electrode layer are laminated in the unit cell, the thin-film solar cell formed by electrically connecting the unit cells in series includes a contact electrode section for electrically connecting the first electrode layer contained in one of two cells serving as the unit cells to the second electrode layer laminated in the other cell, and in the contact electrode, if laser beams are irradiated to a portion of the light absorption layer shared by two cells, the light absorption layer is modified to improve the conductivity thereof. The method of evaluating the thin-film solar cell has the steps for: scanning light from the outside while aiming at a prescribed region including the portion where the contact electrode is formed to measure the photo luminescence of the prescribed region; and specifying that a region where measured emission intensity drops to a prescribed threshold value or lower is a region where conductivity of the light absorption layer is improved. |
