PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and simple method for manufacturing silver nano particles even from a standpoint of industrial manufacturing to be scaled up.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing silver nano particles comprises: mixing a silver compound and an alcohol based solvent to obtain silver compound-alcohol slurry; adding an aliphatic hydrocarbon amine to the resultant silver compound-alcohol slurry to form a complex compound including the silver compound and the amine; and heating and thermally decomposing the complex compound to form silver nano particles.
