PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protective polyester film having excellent adhesiveness between a polarizer and a functional layer such as a hard coat layer.SOLUTION: The polarizer protective polyester film includes an easily adhesive layer P1 on one surface of a polyester film and an easily adhesive layer P2 on the other surface. The easily adhesive layer P1 comprises a polyester resin (A), a polyvinyl alcohol resin (B) and a crosslinking agent (C), wherein the polyester resin (A) has an acid value of 20 KOHmg/g or less and the polyvinyl alcohol resin (B) has a saponification degree of 60 to 85 mol%. The easily adhesive layer P2 is formed from an aqueous coating liquid essentially comprising an aqueous polyester resin (D) and at least one compound (E) selected from the group consisting of water-soluble titanium chelate compounds, water-soluble titanium acylate compounds, water-soluble zirconium chelate compounds and water-soluble zirconium acylate compounds. |
