PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating container which is excellent in disposability and can reduce volume by folding it after use.SOLUTION: Separation means 30 for separating a part of an exterior sleeve 21 is provided on a body part 12 by circulating a vertical ruled line extending on a line in which vertical planes passing through a central axis of a container body intersect, a pair of oblique ruled lines extending obliquely downward on both sides from a lower end of the vertical ruled line and a horizontal ruled line extending in a circumferential direction of the body part 12 from the lower end of the vertical ruled line, and the exterior sleeve 21 on the lower side separated from the separation means 30 is removed from the body part 12 of the container body 11.
