PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To employ a strong return spring of a clamp arm in a clamp device while enabling the return spring to be easily attached and detached.SOLUTION: An output part (14c) is provided in a left end part of the clamp arm (14) supported rockably in the vertical direction by a housing (12). A spring-installing first hole (22) is opened in an obliquely upward direction toward the output part (14c) in a left end part of the housing (12). A through-hole (24) communicating an upper surface and an under surface of the clamp arm (14) is provided in the oblique upward direction in a left near part of the clamp arm 14. A spring-installing second hole (24a) and female screw hole (24b) are formed in order in the upward direction in the through-hole (24). A return spring (26) installed over the first hole (22) and the second hole (24a) energizes the output part (14c) upward. A push bolt (28) threadedly engaged from the upper side with the female screw hole (24b) compresses the return spring (26). |
