Provided are an imprinted stamp comprising cyclic olefin copolymer, and a 2-step method for transcribing a pattern from mold to object, which have high reprinting accuracy and are easy and suitable to industrially apply. The copolymer stamp used in imprint process comprises a polymer foil(3) which is produced from material comprising at least one cyclic olefin copolymer(COC) and has a surface having structured pattern. A method for transcribing a pattern from mold to object by imprint process comprises the steps of (i) contacting a pattern of mold surface(2) with polymer material comprising at least one COC so as to form a flexible replica of polymer comprising a structured surface having reverse pattern to the pattern of mold surface(2); (ii) releasing the flexible polymer replica from the mold; (iii) pressing the reverse pattern of replica on surface of second object so as to imprint a copy of pattern of mold surface(2) on the surface of the second object. |
