PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure smooth progress of a game by possibly eliminating the need for passing a game ball through a passage port which triggers a shift to a jackpot game.SOLUTION: A game machine comprises: a game board 30 having, on its front face, a game area 31 on which a game ball can flow down; start prize-winning ports 61, 62 which are provided in the game area 31 and which a game ball can enter; lottery means 110 which can operate a lottery upon entry of a game ball into the start prize-winning ports 61, 62 as to whether or not a jackpot game advantageous to a game player is executed; a jackpot winning port 65 which opens in a predetermined mode during the jackpot game so that many game balls can enter the jackpot winning port 65; a passage port 70 which is provided in the game area 31 and through which a game ball can pass; and winning game control means 150 capable of exerting game-related control including open/close control on the jackpot winning port 65. The winning game control means 150 starts a jackpot game on the basis that a game ball passed through the passage port 70 after winning of the jackpot and that a predetermined time elapsed after the winning of the jackpot. |
