PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which allows for detection or acquisition of information embedded corresponding to various images or color variation, and to provide an image processing program.SOLUTION: A local color displacement extraction unit 1 determines a local color displacement from a local color displacement in an attention area, e.g., a local average value and the color difference vector of a color in the attention area or a local differential value. A similarity calculation unit 2 calculates the similarity of a local color displacement obtained in the local color displacement extraction unit 1 and a preset extraction color displacement. If there is an attention area where the similarity thus calculated is equal to or goes above a preset threshold, a determination can be made that information is not embedded in a given image. A binary similarity image may be generated by generating a similarity image where a value of similarity is allocated to each attention area, and then further binarizing the similarity image. |
