PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air electrode which can increase the discharge capacity compared with that of a conventional air battery, when it is used in an air battery and the air battery including the air electrode.SOLUTION: An air electrode used in an air battery contains at least a conductive material, and at least PTFE and PVdF-HFP as a binding agent. When the total content of PTFE and PVdF-HFP is 100 mass%, the content ratio of the PTFE and PVdF-HFP is; PTFE:PVdF-HFP=10 mass%:90 mass%-75 mass%:25 mass%. |
