POSTURE HOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture holder worn and used by a worker, which is configured to reduce loads on upper arms of the worker.SOLUTION: The posture holder includes: a body section wound around the lumbar part of a worker; vertical frame sections 2 extending upward along the back part of the worker; lateral frame sections 4 extending laterally along the shoulder parts of the worker; and arm sections 5 and 6 supported so as to vertically swing about left/right shaft cores of the lateral frame sections 4. The posture holder further includes: a holding mechanism that can switch between a permission state for permitting movement of the arm sections 5 and 6 associated with movement of the worker's upper arms attached to the arm sections 5 and 6, and a holding state for holding the arm sections 5 and 6 at desired positions with respect to the body section 1; and a manipulation section 31 for manipulating the holding mechanism.
