PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture holder worn and used by a worker, which is configured not to impose resistance on the worker when the worker moves the arms or the legs to desired positions.SOLUTION: The posture holder includes: body sections 2 and 4 to be attached to a worker; and arm sections 5 and 6 to be attached to the arms or legs extending from joints of the worker close to the body sections 2 and 4. The posture holder further includes: a holding mechanism that can switch between a permission state for permitting movement of the arm sections 5 and 6 associated with movement of the worker's arms or legs attached to the arm sections 5 and 6, and a holding state for holding the arm sections 5 and 6 at desired positions with respect to the body sections 2 and 4; and a manipulation section 31 manipulated by the worker so as to manipulate the holding mechanism. |
