PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus which is enabled by a simple construction to prevent the smell of garbage inside of a treating part from penetrating into a sink at a normal time.SOLUTION: A garbage treatment apparatus 10 comprises: a drain member 13 detachably arranged in a drain part 12 of a sink 11; a water discharge port communicating with a drain channel 17 to the outside; and a garbage supply port 14 communicating with a garbage treatment part 16. The drain member 13 includes: a separation chamber 13b for separating the garbage and water having flown from the drainage part of the sink, to flow down the water into the water discharge port and have the garbage as a residue; and a closing portion 13a for closing the garbage supply port. |
