PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance at the time of change of a sheet supply source.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a first supply unit, a second supply unit, and a control unit. The first supply unit supplies a stored sheet to an image forming unit of the image forming apparatus. The second supply unit is disposed farther from the image forming unit than the first supply unit and supplies a stored sheet to the image forming unit. The control unit performs switching control so that at least the first one sheet is supplied from the first supply unit and a subsequent sheet is supplied from the second supply unit, and performs control so that the subsequent sheet is supplied from the second supply unit while the sheet is supplied from the first supply unit upon performing the changeover. |
