A method for detecting physical associations between electronic identifiers and objects to which the electronic identifiers are physically coupled. The method 'includes the steps of: detecting the electronic identifiers in respective detection instants (tr); generating event signals indicating corresponding detection instants (tr); according to the event signals, generating corresponding first entries (301) containing corresponding detection instants; for each object, determining a corresponding set of entries according to the first entries (301), and generating a respective number of second entries (501) on the basis of the respective set of entries, each second entry (501) containing a respective peak instant; for each object, generating a respective number of third entries (601), by comparing the peak instants of the second entries (501) with a respective time window (Tw2(x)). |
