The tool holder (2) has a tool receiving and fixing unit including a fixation screw that fixes a grinding or soil mixing tool (3) on the tool holder. A side support surface (13) supports the tool on the tool holder so as to allow recovery of effort between the tool and the tool holder in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the fixation screw and in two different directions. Surfaces of positioning pins are engaged in corresponding housings of the tool. An independent claim is also included for a grinding or soil mixing device comprising a drum.
