The present invention relates to a system for creating an MGI music file which comprises: a sound source DB part in which information about a plurality of music instruments and sound information about the notes of the music instruments are stored; an input part receiving MIDI score data; an information extracting part for extracting information on the music instruments contained in the MIDI score data and note information on the corresponding music instruments by parsing the MIDI score data; a sound selection part for selecting the sound information corresponding to the extracted music instrument and the note information on the music instruments among the sound information stored in the sound source DB part; and a file creating part for creating a group file by integrating the selected sound information and the MIDI score data.
