The present invention relates to a method for moving content and an electronic device thereof. A method of claim 1 comprises the steps of: detecting at least two touches; selecting content corresponding to a location where the at least two touches are detected; detecting a combination shape of at least two touch subjects if the detected at least two touches are released; and moving the selected content to a location where the combination shape of the detected at least two touch subjects is changed. By providing a user with various touch interfaces, user convenience can be improved.
