An automatic reel change system allows a reel tape in which multiple chips are accommodated to be unwound with a cover tape for covering the chip and be wound around a cassette. The present invention relates to an automatic reel change system with a function for attaching an adhesive tape, comprises a reel tape winding unit which unwinds a reel tape and a cover tape from a roll and moves the reel tape and the cover tape to make the cover tape face the outside and be wound around a cassette; a cutting unit which is installed at a transfer path of the reel tape and cuts the reel tape and the cover tape; a release paper winding unit which unwinds release paper wound with the adhesive tape around a first reel to be in contact with the adhesive tape and winds the release paper around a second reel; and an adhesive tape attaching unit which separates the adhesive tape transferred by the release tape winding unit from the release paper, attaches the adhesive tape to an end of the cover tape cut by the cutting unit, and winds the adhesive tape with the cover tape around the cassette to make the adhesive tape surround the outer side of the reel tape and the cover tape and a reel tape finishing method using the same. The present invention prevents damage to the chip by making the reel tape not to be unwound easily from the cassette which keeps the chip in a stable state and improves the accuracy and the reliability of the finishing work using the adhesive tape for the same. |
