PURPOSE: A control module for a cooling and heating device and a control method thereof are provided to reduce the waste of energy by reducing the operation time of a cooling and heating device even if the temperature of the device is set excessively. CONSTITUTION: A control module for a cooling and heating device comprises a control module (110), a remote control unit, and a fixed control unit (200). The control module periodically transmits a control signal. The remote control unit controls the operation of a cooling and heating device at a remote distance. The fixed control unit performs an air conditioner function by powering an air conditioner drive unit or performs a hot air blower function by powering a heater drive unit.
