The mechanism has a lever pedal (f) connected to two cams (a, b) rotating around an axle (c). The axle traverses the width of the forks. The cams serve as support feet resting on the ground. The cams rotating at each side of the forks define an upper position (angle beta) in which the cams release the displacement of the manual pallet lorry and a lower stop position in which the cams immobilize the manual pallet lorry by raising its steering wheels. One of the cams is extended from the lever pedal to facilitate the action of a user.
