A mask includes a blocking unit, a halftone unit, and an open unit. The blocking unit blocks light. The halftone unit is arranged adjacent to the blocking unit in a first direction and partially passes light. The open unit is arranged adjacent to the halftone unit in a first direction and completely passes light. Therefore, a display substrate having fine patterns can be produced, the resolution of a display device can be increased, and an aperture ratio can be improved.
