PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and easily acquire identification information to be used for establishing communication.SOLUTION: Provided is a communication method for establishing connection between a first radio communication device and a second radio communication device having a function of a base station that communicates with the first radio communication device. The method includes: an identification information transmission step in which the first radio communication device transmits to the second radio communication device a frame of which user settable area is set with identification information for identifying the first radio communication device to be connected with the second radio communication device; and a generation step in which, on the basis of the identification information, the second radio communication device generates code information generation data for generating code information to be used for establishing connection between the first radio communication device and the second radio communication device.
