PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant type toy allowing a user to greatly move a movable component, and to feel attraction and pleasure of plants such as insectivorous plant.SOLUTION: A plant type toy T1 is configured by protruding a plant part 13 from a head part 2 of a doll part 1. The plant part 13 includes a movable flower part 14 formed so as to open and close a plurality of petals 17, and a movable leaf part 26 formed so as to shake a leaf body 27. A flower leaf driving mechanism 30 arranged in a trunk part 9 of the doll part 1 includes a linear stepping motor 31 enabling a rod 32 arranged nearly along a rotation center axis to reciprocate along the rotation center axis, and connects a connection wire 24 of the movable flower part 14 and a shape-memory alloy wire 28 of the movable leaf part 26 to the rod 32. A control part 47 in the trunk part 9 controls driving of the flower leaf driving mechanism 30 to open and close the petals 17 of the movable flower part 14, and shake the leaf body 27 of the movable leaf part 26 when a detection signal is output from an object detection sensor. |
