PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of preventing an illuminating device from being uselessly turned on.SOLUTION: A power tool comprises: a power source for driving the tool; a main switch for operating the power source by being turned on and for stopping the power source by being turned off; an illuminating device for illuminating a portion to be worked by the tool; and an illumination selector switch capable of changing over at least a first illumination mode and a second illumination mode. When the first illumination mode is selected, the illuminating device is turned on for first predetermined time from a time point when the main switch is turned off. When the second illumination mode is selected, the illuminating device is not turned on for the first predetermined time from a time point when the main switch is turned off. |
