PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an internal clock signal having a high frequency without using a ring oscillator.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: delay circuits 111 to 118 in which the delay amount changes according to an operating voltage Vdly; a regulator circuit 120 changing the level of the operating voltage Vdly on the basis of the phases of an input clock signal CLK0 inputted to the delay circuit 111 and an output clock signal CLK8 outputted from the delay circuit 118; and a waveform synthesis circuit 130 generating an internal clock signal ICLK1 by synthesizing clock signals CLK0 to CLK7 inputted to the delay circuits 111 to 118, respectively. According to the present invention, the internal clock signal ICLK1 with a higher frequency than the input clock signal CLK0 is generated by multiplying the input clock signal CLK0, so that the internal clock signal ICLK1 with a high frequency can be generated without using a ring oscillator. |
