PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information display device that lays out (or displays) functions for enlarging icon displays, and allows a user to easily enlarge an image by simply holding a casing without operating the functions.SOLUTION: An enlarging and displaying method includes the steps of: setting an enlargement area on the basis of information on a right hand or a left hand determined by a side face sensor control unit and positions on a touch panel indicated by a user with his/her little finger and ring finger (step S6); and when the touch panel is continued to be touched by the little finger and ring finger specifying the enlargement area for a fixed time (step S8), recognizing that a specific touch operation is performed and enlarging and displaying an image in the enlargement area (step S9). |
