PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature monitoring device of a wire electric discharge machine, for eliminating a temperature difference between a workpiece and working liquid and a temperature difference between the temperature of an electric discharge machine body and the ambient temperature of the electric discharge machine, and then releasing an alarm to start processing.SOLUTION: A temperature monitoring device of a wire electric discharge machine is configured such that to inhibit a start of processing in the temperature changeable state of a workpiece or an electric discharge liquid body, when a working liquid temperature is outside a preset allowable temperature range, an "alarm 1W" reporting that the temperature is outside the set temperature range is displayed, during a period until a temperature difference between the workpiece and the working liquid is eliminated after the temperature returns within a predetermined temperature range, an "alarm 2W" reporting that the period is within the temperature difference elimination time is displayed, and after the elimination of the temperature difference, the alarm is released to start processing (See Fig. 1). |
