A method and an apparatus for transmitting digital television broadcasting data, a method and an apparatus for receiving digital television broadcasting data are provided to turn on a power supply of an RF receiver when service frames corresponding to a desired service is received and turn off the power supply when service frames corresponding to an undesired service is received, thereby saving power. At least one service frame is generated and allocated for each of services included in channels. A frame number is designated for the service frame. A number increasing by 1 is designated to the next service frame. A service frame group(50) including service frames having designated frame numbers is generated. The service frame group is transmitted. |
