The decoder further includes first and second interleavers and a first de-interleaver. The first interleaver (262) receives first reliability information (261) from the first estimation unit (211). The second estimation unit (212) receives output (263) of the first interleaver. The second interleaver (240) and the first estimation unit (211) receive an uncoded stream (201 ). The second estimation unit (212) receives output (249) of the second interleaver. The first de-interleaver (252) receives second reliability information (251 ) from the second estimation unit (212). The first estimation unit (211) receives output (253) of the first de-interleaver (252). The first estimation unit (211) receives a first parity stream (241), and the second estimation unit (212) receives a second parity stream (242).</p>
