The present invention relates to electrode fibers of a twisting structure for providing enhanced catalytic activities, mechanical strength, activities in in-vivo environments, and electrode performance, and a manufacturing method thereof, characterized by including: a carbon nanotube sheet coated with a conductive polymer; and an enzyme fixed to the carbon nanotube sheet, and formed in a multilayered structure. The electrode fibers according to the present invention have excellent mechanical strength enough to manufacture textile, and are able to be easily applied to in-vivo environments, as well as have remarkable electrode performance so as to include an implantable form such as a syringe needle, a catheter, a stent and the like. Therefore, if the electrode fibers are applied as biological fuel cells and various medical devices or mediums, remarkable performance enhancement can be produced. |
