A chair 2010 has a supporting frame, a back portion 2015, a seat portion 2013 having a central zone 2203, and a seat support 2201a for operatively supporting the seat portion 5 from the supporting frame. The seat support has resilient support members 2219a, 2219b, 2219c, 2219d located generally along respective sides of the central zone 2203 of the seat portion to support a seated occupant when the seated occupant's weight is centrally located in the central zone, but which enable an angular change of the seat portion 2013 to the side if the seated occupant's weight is offset to the side of the central zone 2203 of the seat 10 portion. 2101a F 2204 2201 25 2049a 2049b 2013/ 2353 2019 -2017
