PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of an eddy current in a coil due to variation of leakage flux flowing between teeth, while preventing the conductor space factor from lowering between teeth.SOLUTION: Since a magnetic material layer 44 is placed between coil elements 42 in a slot 24, leakage flux 46 between teeth 23 mainly flows through the magnetic material layer 44 in the circumferential direction. Furthermore, the thickness t in the radial direction of the magnetic material layer 44 is larger on the radial inside where the distance to a rotor 14 is short, and a large amount of leakage flux is generated. Consequently, a large amount of leakage flux 46 flows through the magnetic material layer 44 on the radial inside where a large amount of leakage flux is generated, and the leakage flux 46 flowing through the magnetic material layer 44 decreases toward the radial outside where the leakage flux decreases. |
