PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant battery in which excellent cycle characteristics can be achieved even when it is used in a high-temperature range of 120°C-300°C, for example.SOLUTION: The heat-resistant battery includes: a positive electrode including a positive electrode collector and a positive electrode active material immobilized on the positive electrode collector, where the positive electrode active material contains a sodium-containing transition metal compound that can occlude and release sodium ions electrochemically; a negative electrode including a negative electrode collector and a negative electrode active material immobilized on the negative electrode collector, where the negative electrode active material contains at least one kind selected from a group consisting of a sodium-containing titanium compound that can occlude and release sodium ions at a potential baser than the sodium-containing transition metal compound, and a nongraphitizable carbon; and a sodium ion conductive electrolyte interposed at least between the positive electrode and negative electrode, and containing a salt of an organic cation having pyrrolidinium skeleton and bis(perfluoroalkyl sulfonyl)imide anion. |
