PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an organic electroluminescent element that can be driven at a low voltage, and an organic electroluminescent element using the composition for an organic electroluminescent element.SOLUTION: A composition for an organic electroluminescent element contains a hole-transporting compound having a crosslinking group and an electron-accepting compound. When the amount of the crosslinking group in 1 g of the composition is denoted as A (mol/g) and the amount of the electron-accepting compound in 1 g of the composition is denoted as B (mol/g), A/B is larger than 0 and less than 2.0.
