PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing execution of useless correction processing in a printing apparatus having a power-saving mode.SOLUTION: A printer 100 has a power supply mode and a power-saving mode that differ in a power supply state. When a shifting condition from the power supply mode to the power-saving mode is satisfied, the printer 100 performs correction processing, and determines whether there is a print job to be executed after completing the correction processing. If the determination is affirmative, the printer 100 shifts to the power-saving mode after completing the correction processing and printing the print job. |
