PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wobble interference in a land/groove system.SOLUTION: STW modulation is used for wobble modulation at a place having the possibility of causing wobble interference, for example, a place in which shapes of both side walls of a groove are not equal and groove width modulation cannot be avoided. Thus, the amplitude of groove width modulation can be suppressed to 1/4 in the case of using BPSK modulation.
