PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake system structure of an internal combustion engine capable of effectively adjusting intake noise when a silencer such as a resonator and an intake noise generator are jointly used.SOLUTION: An intake noise generator 7 is mounted in a branch pipe 4B branching from an intake pipe 4A on an intake flow upstream side of a throttle body 47. A resonator 6 is disposed between a connection position of the branch pipe 4B to the intake pipe 4A and the throttle body 47. Accordingly, sound pressure in a specific frequency band of the intake noise radiated from an opening at an upstream end of an intake passage 4 and sound pressure in a specific frequency band of intake noise radiated from the intake noise generator 7 can be reduced together by one resonator 6. Intake noise transmitted to the inside of a cabin can be excellently tuned by the intake noise reduction effect by the resonator 6 and the intake noise increase effect by the intake noise generator 7 while reducing the number of components of an intake system. |
