PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method which can detect a mixed abnormal sheet from a plurality of folded sheets by detecting thickness variation.SOLUTION: A detection method includes steps of: capturing an image of a plurality of folded sheets 1 by a television camera 7; calculating a thickness of the sheet from the captured image and calculating an average thickness of the sheet; and comparing the calculated thickness of the sheet with the average thickness of the sheet or a normal thickness of the sheet to detect an abnormally thick sheet. |
