PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a polyimide coating film by an electron deposition method, which enables stable production with little environmental load and provides a coating film having excellent heat resistance, surface smoothness, chemical resistance and the like.SOLUTION: Provided is a process for producing a polyimide coating film comprising: formation of a coating film of a polyimide precursor by electrodeposition using a polyimide precursor solution composition, followed by imidization thereof. The polyimide precursor solution composition contains (a) a polyamic acid salt represented by the general formula (1), where A is a 4-valent aromatic or aliphatic residue; B is a 2-valent aromatic or aliphatic residue; and one or both of Xand Xare basic compounds, and (b) a solvent containing an amide solvent in an amount of 5 mass% or less. |
