METHOD OF FORECASTING THE RISK OF DEVELOPMENT OF INADEQUATE PERFUSION OF KIDNEY IN PATIENTS WITH SEVERE SEPSIS AND SEPTIC SHOCK

Invention relates to diagnostics of disorders of kidney function. The diagnostic method provides for measuring velocity of pressure wave between the carotid and femoral arteries of the same body side by photoplethysmography. If 6.9 m/s and lower velocity is measured the risk of inadequate perfusion of the kidney is forecasted.
