A device for detecting a failure of an LED lamp for an aviation lighting facility using a constant current source is disclosed according to an embodiment of the present invention. The device includes a AC-DC conversion unit, an LED unit including at least one LED lamp connected to the output of the AC-DC conversion unit; and a power measurement unit connected to the input of the AC-DC conversion unit and organized to measure power consumed by the LED unit.
