PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrashort-wave unit capable of realizing shortening of fixation time of a dental implant.SOLUTION: In an ultrashort-wave unit 200 in the present invention, an electrode retention mechanism 220 closely fits an ultrashort-wave electrode 211 to a specific portion of a living body, and the ultrashort-wave electrode 211 emits an ultrashort wave using electric power to be supplied externally. Therefore, for example, the unit can emit the ultrashort wave to a treatment part of the living body by closely fitting the ultrashort-wave electrode to the specific portion on a surface of the treatment portion. If the treatment portion is a jaw bone in which a dental implant is embedded, the emission of the ultrashort wave enhances bonding between the jaw bone and the dental implant. |
